Dynamite Love feat Awon

Yeah it's Awon Thomas Prime
Goon Trax Phil Potts nonstop let's go
Back in the days when I was a teenager
We pumped Illmatic smoked blunts and played Sega
Genesis even then I was a nemesis
On the high school battles and brawls I reminisce
Emceeing was my whole philosophy biology
Geometry even my religion
Needless to say I got a GED
And it'd take a few years for the world to see my vision
Met Al Bumz and Mack Da Menace
Some 881 they inviteed I ripped it
I think the instrumental was brand Nubians
Punks jumped up to get beat down but were in
Me and tiff the gift recorded real emcee
Strictly underground and her in the same day
Wiz and Kameleon were amazed
The track was blazing and beautiful loser came to play
I got a dynamite love that's out of control
Hip hop is my heart mind body and soul
I've been doing this here since I was 8 years old
Everybody say they hot Awon is ice cold
I got a dynamite love that's out of control
Hip hop is my heart mind body and soul
I've been doing this here since I was 8 years old
Everybody say they hot Awon is ice cold
The album received mad love and support
And spread like wildfire even though it was an import
Goon Trax showed me how d**e I was
'Cause people bought my joint with no type of buzz
I look at the comments people leave on blogs
And my Youtube clips and I gotta thank God
That hip hop became my light my education
My wife my art my love my kids my destination
It's vinyl I am so dedicated to the elevation
Of true heads from every nation
I gained friends brother sisters and family
Since I was 8 years old an emcee is what I planned to be
So this is about dreams fulfilled
I pour my heart on paper 'cause yo I keep it real
Instill the values passed down from the true school
If you were in my shoes what would you do
I got a dynamite love that's out of control
Hip hop is my heart mind body and soul
I've been doing this here since I was 8 years old
Everybody say they hot Awon is ice cold
I got a dynamite love that's out of control
Hip hop is my heart mind body and soul
I've been doing this here since I was 8 years old
Everybody say they hot Awon is ice cold
Yeah the same thing is going on man in this industry
The real emcees don't get credit
Like if it was 1993 I'd be the king of the emcees
But the underground is still alive though
