Lyrics
0:05I walk in silence when it comes
0:11This feeling when the spirit leads me on
0:16If the dogs are barking and the night is rough
0:21I take it as a sign to climb above
0:26The city to the hill among the clouds
0:31Where I can see my Saviour now
0:36He's waiting with his palm to me outstretched
0:42His mercy is a balm when I'm perplexed
0:47I find Jesus in the darkest night
0:52I find Jesus in the morning light
0:57I find Jesus in the face of those
1:02Whose hearts are singing with the Heavenly Host
1:13Sometimes when I feel all alone
1:18I look around and all are gone
1:23The friends that I rely upon
1:28Are busy doing what they want
1:34I look within and I am told
1:39It's Sunday morning in my soul
1:44And there I find a holy hall
1:49Where congregations heed the call
1:55I find Jesus in the darkest night
2:00I find Jesus in the morning bright
2:05I find Jesus in the face of those
2:10Whose hearts are singing with the Heavenly Host
2:36And when I lay down my last time
2:41And feel a chill run up my spine
2:47And recognize my time has come
2:52I'll look around He'll lead me home
2:57He'll reach His loving hand to me
3:03And bid me climb to victory
3:08Where we'll find kindred spirits there
3:13Hearts raised in song without a care
3:19I find Jesus in the darkest night
3:24I find Jesus in the morning bright
3:29I find Jesus in the face of those
3:34Whose hearts are singing with the Heavenly Host
