Staring at my phone again
Holding my breath, need to count to ten
Decisions in the making, 24/7
I'm losing sight of everything I’m chasing
It's like the world is closing in
Under this blindfold I'm missing everything
Just as I think I need a change
She turns to me and says, "Oh what a day!"
Another voice, another call
I’m like a prisoner trapped inside these walls
And every one a question
Another bee sting, another lesson
Never a blessing
Engaging my defiance
Is there no warning inside the science?
