Little Sister

We were wild
Growing in the backyard
Making friends with all the trees
Pulling treasures out of weeds
She got the clothes that I grew out of
I could never shut my mouth but she was the quiet one
We didn't always want to
But we shared
I know that we're so different
But who cares
She's always there beside me
In the picture
She's the bigger person my little sister
I'm sorry for the trouble that I caused her
Though we're both older now
I still feel bad
She's gotta know that I know that I don't deserve her
She's gotta know that I'd kill anyone who'd hurt her
We didn't always want to
But we shared
I know that we're so different
But who cares
She's always there beside me
In the picture
She's the bigger person my little sister
Don't get me wrong
She can be wrong sometimes
And it took me years
To realize most of the time
She's right
No we didn't always want to
But we shared
And I know that we're so different
But who cares
She's always there beside me
Taking my picture
She's the bigger person
My little sister
