in the middle

Babe I'm not that patient
When your heart is this heavy
When your mind won't stop spinning
And the sadness feels like it's made of stone
You would get away too
Why can't you see it?
If you were in my shoes
You would've run away
I guess I need a break
From the weight from the looping thoughts
From loving someone who won't meet me in the middle
At least in the middle
Can't walk alone but I don't need someone like you
I love deeply and It's not a flaw
But you made it feel like weakness
Again It's my mistake
You wet my eyes then let them dry on their own
I'll miss you till I die but I might die before
If I keep loving you
I'll keep letting you hurt me
If I keep holding you
Nothing will stay in my hands
I don't think love could ever be fair
But I still want to love someone
Who's ready to meet me in the middle
At least in the middle
I know what's right and I don't need someone like you
