But sometimes late at night when I'm bored
Think about the high life I'd be livin'
All the silly things I could afford
A house in L.A. and one by the beach
Cars that go fast and a parrot that speaks
I'd snap my fingers and have anything that I want
I could date someone young when I start to feel old
I'd throw all these parties for people I don't know
They would come for the money but never for me

I bet I'd probably start feelin' empty
So I'd grab a pen and write a check
To the latest and greatest foundation
For some recent world crisis event
My lovers and friends and family too
They'd all disappear but out of the blue
Start askin' for money intending to shoot for all I've got
But all of the glamor would start to get old
My kids would fight over the will so I'm told
