Be Home Soon (Alberte's Song)

Sit in the hallway and wait for the doctors
Try to prepare for the news
It doesn't feel real so you're pinching yourself
Can't believe that it happened to you
If there's a God I don't think that he's listening
Questioning if he exists
If there's a God how could you let this happen
She's just a four year old kid
There is a swing at the hospital playground
Where everyone's faking a smile
A clown with balloons in a rainbow of colors
But our world is black and white
And no we don't eat and no we don't sleep
But we say that it's gonna be fine
But nothing is given in this new world we live in
We just take one day at a time
We try not to panic and get rid of these bandits
We're here when you open your eyes
Sit in the hallway and wait for the doctors
Try to prepare for the news
No matter what you've been fighting so hard
And we couldn't be more proud of you
Yeah mummy and daddy love seeing you happy
And baby we'll be home soon
Mummy and daddy love seeing you happy
And baby we'll be home soon
