Kerry Washington's Narration

Get close to someone
A long deep meaningful relationship
Letting go and allowing two souls to align
Two humans one heart
Tampering with broken truths
Mixed feelings and untamed emotions
Rattling in the depths of barbaric love
For you loved me before you could trust me
You held my scars like fragile glass
Tracing every crack with trembling fingers
Searching for the beauty hidden in the fracture
Now we stand bare battered but brave
Two souls still learning how to love
Without armor
