Big Things, Small Town (Acoustic)

The sun sets 'round the corner
The postman knows your name
There's a church a farm shop
And a place to kill your brain
Well I was staring out the window
Thinking lately I have found
That there's big things in this small town
The kids are starting school
And the parents shed a tear
He moved from the city
With dreams of brewing his own beer
And all the fields have lost their flowers
And the leaves are turning brown
Big things small town
All the cars are passing through
Probably write it off like debt but
They'll never know the things that makes it what it is
All the hearts that it's broken
And the footprints on the ground
The turning nothing into something
If I know one thing it's I have found
That's there's big things in this small town
There's two shadows in the distance
They're walking holding hands
He leans in for the first kiss
And he changes all her plans
And that's the spot they'll remember
They'll tell their grandkids about
And how there's big things in this small town
All the cars that pass right through
Well they never pass again
'Cause they're probably on their way
To somewhere the same to them
All the fires that have started
And the ones that burnt right out
All the nothings and the somethings
If I know one thing it's I have found
That there's big things in this small town
Big things in this small town
Big things in this small town
