Might Ruin Christmas

Just got in on the last train home
First stop is a place down the road
Where everybody goes
And everybody knows
Sarah's out of college
Ollie's got a job
Jamie's got a cold
And I got my guitar
Oh nothings changed
It's the holidays
There's people at church down on their knees
And putting little starts up on their trees
But knows snow's falling
Sun is rising
I'm still here singing Mariah
So put another shot of Jack on my wish list
I heard Belle's under the mistletoe
So I don't know if I'm a make it home
And now all I'm asking Santa for is forgiveness
'Cos tonight I might ruin Christmas
Oh oh oh
Tonight I might ruin Christmas
Oh oh no
Oh oh no
If I stumble in and mum's awake
I'll find out why they call it Boxing Day
Jesus couldn't save me
'Cos he's just a baby maybe
I should have been at church down on my knees
But we've waited all year for Christmas Eve and now
1 2 3 4
Snow's falling
Sun is rising
I'm still here singing Mariah
So put another shot of Jack on my wish list
I heard Belle's under the mistletoe
So I don't know if I'm a make it home
And now all I'm asking Santa for is forgiveness
'Cos tonight I might ruin Christmas
Oh oh oh
Tonight I might ruin Christmas
Oh oh no
Tonight I might ruin Christmas Eve
'Cos I don't wanna leave
And all my friends are here
Promise I'll be good next year
And I'm snow's falling
Sun is rising
We're still here singing Mariah
So put another shot of Jack on my wish list
I heard Belle's under the mistletoe
So I don't know if I'm a make it home
And now all I'm asking Santa for is forgiveness
Tonight I might ruin Christmas
