golden state of mind

The birds up in the tree all say good morning
The rain wishing the shore a good day
The water in the river always flowing
Washing all my worries far away
The sky is peeking through its cloudy fingers
Don't be shy the sun wants out to play
A rainbow as a cloud tries to linger
Every brilliant color on display
I'm Coronado dreaming on San Diego Bay
I'm drifting on a current ease of mind
On Catalina Island
Sierra mountain side
I'm drifting on a golden state of mind
I'm drifting on my golden state of mind
A vineyard on the hillside in the evening
A misty little picnic by the lake
Pretending like we never used a light bulb
Talking by the fire about fate
Everyday I'm Coronado dreaming on San Diego Bay
I'm drifting on a current ease of mind
On Catalina Island
Sierra mountain side
I'm drifting on a golden state of mind
I'm drifting on my golden state of mind
I'm drifting on my golden state of mind
The birds up in the tree all say good morning
The rain wishing the shore a good day
The water in the river always flowing
Washing all my worries far away
Washing all my worries far away
Washing all my worries far away
