i don't care

I took the tube
And someone else was wearing your perfume
It took me back to yesteryear when you and I were cool
She got off at Liverpool street
I have these weeks
Where everything we had feels like a dream
A halfway decent movie scene with no verisimilitude
Is it like that for you?
And Carmen called
Because she ain't no good at texting what she thinks
She tells me off
'Cause I let everyone get underneath my skin
She says it good to care
But when you gonna care about yourself?
About yourself?
When you gonna care about yourself?
I guess she's right
But I can't learn a language overnight
And life is just a palindrome
You're born and then you die
The same each way you write it
And I get drunk because I ain't no good at being genuine
And life's a game
But there ain't no big golden trophy when you win
And I complain but if I'm honest I don't care about it
I don't care about it
I don't care about it
I don't care about it
I don't care about it
I don't care about it
I don't care about it
I- I don't care about it
