First Day of My Life

In my room last night I built a dream machine
And I moved through space and time
Is there somebody out there to believe in me
Tell me it's gonna be alright
You came down on the tail of a shooting star
Softly drowning out the sound
All of the fears that keep on chasing me
I'm so glad that you're around
These are crazy days
When every drop of rain becomes a perfect storm
These are crazy days
The world's on fire and John Lennon's gone
And it feels like it feels like
The first day of my life
And it feels like it feels like
The first day of my life
All the hard times come but they always end
I guess we'll have to see it through
I hope you'll be there when the evening falls
I wanna walk that road with you
These are crazy days
When every drop of rain becomes a perfect storm
These are crazy days
The world's on fire and John Lennon's gone
And it feels like it feels like
The first day of my life
And it feels like it feels like
The first day of my life
You showed me who I could become
And what it means to really love someone
'Cause all the greatest days have been with you
These are crazy days
And all I have to offer is a simple song
These are crazy days
And it feels like it feels like
The first day of my life
And it feels like it feels like
The first day of my life
