Ordinary (From the 28th Southeast Asian Games 2015)

I was just a little boy from a little town
I made a wish that someday I could turn this around
I made believe that I was right on top of the world
In my mind I saw the many valiant hearts
They held on to their dreams and never once fell apart
Like superheroes standing tall
They're unbreakable
But beneath the moonlight you could see their hearts breaking down
The rise and fall of hope has never made a sound
Run run run
Far beyond the setting crimson sun
Never meant to be easy
When you're trying to be
More than ordinary
Run run run
It's not over till it's said and done
Never meant to be easy
Just believe that you could be more than ordinary
And ten years later I found myself in front of a crowd
They look to me for hope to end their burning doubt
Within my hands I held on to their flames of desire
And their prayers guide me as I swim amongst the shooting stars
This little boy isn't dreaming and he could see it now
Run run run
Far beyond the setting crimson sun
Never meant to be easy
When you're trying to be
More than ordinary
Run run run
It's not over till it's said and done
Never meant to be easy
Just believe that you could be more than ordinary
Oh ya
And now I tell my little boy from this little town
The road ahead is hard but you'll find your way around
Someday you'll wake up feeling like you're on top of the world
