Try A Little Bit (Alternate Version)

Try A Little Bit - The Lovin' Spoonful
Well man you ought to be ashamed
The way you're afraid of it
I know you've got a mind and
You weren't made for it
But there's someone
That's got what makes you stay for it
In short she offers you the heart
Don't play with it
You've got to try a little bit
You might even have to cry a little bit
When you find someone for you
I know the way it gets to
Be a game to be your only self
And still be close to the one you love
Who did it and needs your help
And all that time it takes to test a life plan out
Is spent in an environment instead of finding out
You've got to try a little bit
You might even have to cry a little bit
When you find someone for you
Try a little bit
You might even have to cry a little bit
So go on and try a little bit
It doesn't matter if you have to cry a little bit
Try a little bit Try a litle bit
