One of These Days

One of these days I'm gonna wake up and forget you
Won't see your shadow in my bedroom anymore
And I won't even think of a single memory
And all that's left of you will leave right out my door
Oh not today one of these days
And one of these days I'm gonna wake up with a checking
My phone for that new message that you won't send
And I won't even go visit your internet home
Look through all your new photos and how you've been
Oh not today one of these days
And one of these days I'm gonna fly across the Atlantic
Won't be so hopelessly romantic about the past
And I won't even cry when I touch down the other side
Even if the last three times I did just that
Oh not today one of these days
And one of these days I'm gonna find a way of saying
"I'm sorry for not staying" that seems sincere
And you won't even think it's just some dumb apology
'Cause I mean just what I say this time my dear
And that's today
Not one of these days
